Cheese Tea Biscuits

The secret of the Tea Biscuits is Frozen Butter.  Shred Frozen Butter allows you to make a very the flaky biscuits.
 Ingredients:
·         ¾ Cups All Purpose Flour
·         2 tsp Baking Powder
·         ¼ tsp Salt
·         1/8 Cups Frozen Butter
·         ½ Cups Cheddar Cheese
·         2/3 Cups Milk
Preparation:
1.       Preheat oven to 450 degree F.
2.       Mixed together flour, baking powder and salt.  Shred the frozen butter into the flour mixture using a box grater.  Toss gently until the butter spread evenly throughout.
3.       Stir in milk until dough holds together.  Add a little more milk if necessary.
4.       Pat dough onto a lightly flour cutting board.  Divide the dough into 8 pieces, 1 ¾ inch thick each.
5.       Baked for 8 – 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Tips:
Served the biscuits while they are hot.  I cut the biscuits in half and serve with my favourite Prosciutto.
